Ştefan Vuza
Owner & President of the Board, Chimcomplex
Ștefan Vuza is one of Romania’s most influential industrialists, recognised for transforming the country’s chemical sector. As Owner and President of Chimcomplex, he led the successful acquisition and revitalisation of Oltchim, creating the Romanian Chemical Company – a regional industrial champion. Over the past three decades, Mr. Vuza has founded and grown SCR Group, an industrial holding with diverse operations in chemicals, energy, logistics, and international trade. His bold strategies and over €500 million in investments helped position Chimcomplex as the largest company on the AeRO segment of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, later transitioning to the main market in 2022. A committed advocate for sustainable industry, he is now driving innovation in green hydrogen production and low-emission technologies aligned with the EU Green Deal. Holder of nine academic degrees, including a PhD in negotiation techniques, Mr. Vuza combines entrepreneurial vision with deep economic insight. He currently serves as President of the Romanian Chemical Producers and Distributors Association and Vice President of the National Association of Romanian Exporters and Importers.
