Kerim Akmammedov

Kerim Akmammedov holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jurisprudence from Turkmen State University (1984–1989). He is currently the Founding Partner and Director of Altyn Kanun Law Firm, a position he has held since 2008. Throughout his extensive career, he has held several senior roles in both the public and private sectors, including Head of the Investments & Joint Ventures Department at the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi International Fund (2004–2005), Senior Legal Counsel at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Turkmenistan (2000–2001), Head of the Economy, Finance & Monetary Circulation Department at the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan (1999–2000), and Main State Registrar of Turkmenistan at the State Agency for Foreign Investments (1997–1998). He also served as Head of the Legal Department at the Central Bank of Turkmenistan (1993–1997) and as Legal Counsel at the State Foreign Economic Affairs Bank of Turkmenistan (1992–1993). In recognition of his dedicated service, Mr. Akmammedov was awarded Turkmenistan's State Medal “For Meritorious Service to the Homeland” in 2023.
