
Batyr Mammedov

Batyr Mammedov graduated from the Faculty of Oil and Gas, Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute in 2000, as a “Development and Operation of Oil and Gas Fields”. From 2000 to 2004, he worked as the chief information officer at the State Agency for Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources at the President of Turkmenistan. In 2004-2008, he worked as a chief specialist in the Oil and gas industry Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan. In 2008-2017, he worked as a leading engineer, senior research fellow, head of laboratory, head of sector at the Natural gas research Institute of the “Turkmengas” State Concern. In 2015, he defended his PhD thesis and received the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. In 2017-2024, he worked as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University. Since July 2024, he has been the Rector of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute.
