
Azat Orazmuhammedov

Azat Orazmuhammedov is an experienced finance and investment professional with over 10 years of expertise in international finance, foreign loans, and banking. Since September 2022, he has been serving as the General Director and Chief Executive Officer of Turkmen Investment Company Closed Joint Stock Company, where he is responsible for managing the company's overall activities, including investment operations and international partnerships. Prior to this role, Mr. Orazmuhammedov worked at The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan for a decade, holding positions of Chief Specialist (2017–2022) and Leading Specialist (2012–2017) in the International Finance Department and Foreign Loans Division. During his tenure, he was engaged in negotiating and managing foreign loan agreements and cooperating with international financial institutions. Mr. Orazmuhammedov holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the International University for the Humanities and Development (2021), and a Specialist degree in Finance and Economics from the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management (2012). He has participated in numerous international seminars and workshops, including programs organized by the Ministry of Finance of Japan, United Nations, OSCE, and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, covering topics such as trade finance, impact investing, and strategic negotiations. In addition to his professional qualifications, Mr. Orazmuhammedov possesses strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills and is fluent in Turkmen, Russian, and English.
